Understanding account deletion and data

Important information about deleting your account:

What Happens When You Delete Your Account:

  • PERMANENT: Cannot be undone
  • All rounds and statistics removed
  • Training plan access removed
  • Group memberships removed
  • Bookings cancelled
  • Credits forfeited (no refund)
  • Messages and content removed
  • Profile permanently deleted

What Is NOT Deleted:

  • Payments history (required for records)
  • Completed transaction receipts
  • Legal compliance data (required by law)

Before Deleting:

  1. Export Your Data:

    • Request data export from support@par-pro.golf
    • Receive email with all your data
    • Download and save locally
  2. Cancel Subscriptions:

    • Cancel any active subscriptions first
    • Prevents future charges
    • Wait for period to end
  3. Use Credits:

    • Credits are forfeited on deletion
    • Purchase training plans you want
    • No refunds after deletion
  4. Notify Others:

    • Alert group members if owner
    • Transfer group ownership if needed
    • Inform instructors

How to Delete Account:

  1. Tap Menu → Settings
  2. Scroll to "Account Management"
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Read warning carefully
  5. Enter password to confirm
  6. Tap "Permanently Delete"
  7. Account deleted immediately

Alternatives to Deletion:

  • Take a Break: Just stop using app, keep data
  • Cancel Subscription: Keep free features
  • Archive Rounds: Export data, then delete
  • Change Email: Update to new address instead

After Deletion:

  • Email address becomes available for new registration
  • Can create new account (starts fresh)
  • Previous data NOT recoverable
  • Must purchase everything again

Recovery: There is NO recovery after deletion. This is permanent.
