Revoking Consent or Deleting Your Child's Data

You're always in control of the permissions you've granted.

Revoking Consent

You can revoke consent at any time, two ways:

Please note: revoking consent may limit or end your child's access to the features that consent covered (for example, messaging or group membership).

Requesting Deletion

If you ask us to delete your child's data:

  • Your child's personal information is deleted within 30 days of a verified request
  • Consent records are kept for 6 years - this is legally required proof that consent was properly obtained, and it's the one thing we must retain

Where to Read More

Our Children's Data Retention Policy describes exactly what is kept, for how long, and why.
