Rounds not syncing or appearing in statistics

Troubleshooting round syncing issues:

Why Rounds Might Not Sync:

  1. Internet connection lost during save
  2. Round saved as draft (not completed)
  3. Server connection issues
  4. App closed before sync completed
  5. Data corruption

Check These First:

1. Is Round Completed?

  • Go to Rounds → All Rounds
  • Look for "Draft" label
  • Draft rounds DON'T count in stats
  • Open draft and tap "Complete Round"

2. Internet Connection

  • Check WiFi or cellular is on
  • Try loading a web page
  • Switch between WiFi and cellular
  • Strong signal required for sync

3. Force Sync

  • Pull down to refresh on Rounds screen
  • Wait for spinning indicator to finish
  • Check if round appears

Manual Sync Steps:

  1. Force Close App

    • Close ParPro completely
    • Reopen app
    • Automatic sync should start
  2. Check Round Status

    • Tap on the round
    • Look for "Synced" checkmark
    • If no checkmark, round is local only
  3. Re-enter Round if Necessary

    • If round won't sync after multiple tries
    • Note all scores
    • Delete problematic round
    • Create new round with same data
    • Server should accept new entry

Statistics Not Updating:

Possible Reasons:

  • Recently completed round (allow 60 seconds)
  • Round is a draft
  • Not enough rounds to unlock feature
  • Subscription expired (for premium stats)

How to Fix:

  1. Pull down to refresh home screen
  2. Verify round is completed (not draft)
  3. Check that you have minimum rounds for feature
  4. Log out and log back in
  5. Force close and reopen app

Group Round Sync Issues:

If Your Score Doesn't Appear to Others:

  1. Ensure internet connection active
  2. Tap refresh in group round
  3. Ask others to refresh
  4. Check that round is "active"
  5. Verify all players accepted invite

Data Loss Prevention:

  • Always wait for "Saving..." to finish
  • Don't close app during save
  • Use "Save Draft" for partial rounds
  • Keep app updated
  • Maintain good internet connection

If Nothing Works:

  1. Screenshot your round details
  2. Note date, course, and scores
  3. Email support@par-pro.golf
  4. Include screenshots
  5. Support can manually add round
