Group access depends on your subscription:

Group Type Requirements:

Instructor Groups (FREE)

  • Available on all plans including Free
  • Created by instructors for their students
  • No subscription required
  • Focused on training and improvement

Friend Groups (Requires Tournament/Pro Pass)

  • Private groups for friends
  • Requires paid subscription
  • Create and manage your own groups
  • Full social features

Community Groups (Requires Tournament/Pro Pass)

  • Public or semi-public groups
  • Requires paid subscription
  • Join existing communities
  • Leaderboards and competitions

Tournament Groups (Requires Tournament/Pro Pass)

  • Organized competitions
  • Requires paid subscription
  • Official scoring
  • Prize support

Why the Restriction?

  • Paid plans unlock social/competitive features
  • Infrastructure costs for group management

What Happens If I Try to Join?

  • App shows upgrade prompt
  • Lists required subscription level
  • One-tap upgrade available
  • Access granted immediately after upgrade

Can Existing Members Stay If They Downgrade?

  • No, access removed when subscription expires
  • Rejoin anytime by resubscribing
  • History and data preserved

Workaround for Free Users: Ask your instructor to create an instructor group instead.
